Advanced Engineering and Aerospace

Cornwall boasts a range of thriving, highly technical and advanced engineering and aerospace companies, employing nearly 20% of Cornwall's total workforce. Between them they include some of the most innovative and technically advanced organisations in the country, developing ground breaking new technologies to shape all our futures. Cornwall is also home to a significant cluster of aerospace supply chain companies and local operations of global industry players, all of which are supported by the Cornwall Aerospace and Defence Initiative (CADI).

In addition, the Engineering sector as a whole has its own Cornwall Engineering Group, a networking organisation established to enable small and medium sized businesses to pool resources and win contracts. The group also organises regular networking events and skills building sessions.
