Objective One Partnership
Objective One was one of three programmes set up to address and assist the differences in social and economic conditions within the European Union. Of the Three, Objective One is the highest priority designation for European aid and is targeted at areas where prosperity, measured in Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per head of population, is 75% or less of the European average. Cornwall was designated an Objective One area in 1999.

Cornwall Development Company
Cornwall Development Company is the Economic Development Service for Cornwall Council, working to secure prosperity for all parts of the county. Cornwall Development Company work in partnership wit the key economic development agencies including the South West Regional Development Agency, Government Office South West and the Objective One Partnership.

Cornwall Council
Cornwall Council jointly fund the Inward Investment programme Cornwall Development Company deliver with Objective One funding. Cornwall Council support the efforts of Cornwall Development Company to provide a comprehensive service to all out of county businesses looking to relocate to the area.
